BLUEDOG was founded by T.R. Durphy and Elena Garcia. Both professional working actors in the South Florida industry today. BLUEDOG'S goal is to help our kids apply what they learn in class towards real casting auditions and situations and on sets. So, we not only guide and keep an eye on your child’s development as far as working in the industry is concerned, but we also help and guide your child fulfill a dream. An honest working dream!
All of BLUEDOG'S teachers are real actors themselves. So don't be surprised if one of your teachers is next to your kid at a Casting call.
BLUEDOG'S ultimate mission is to educate and guide the students to work, develop, and strengthen their craft while encouraging verbal communication; mental spontaneity; tolerance; patience; self-confidence; social interaction; and a better understanding about themselves, while furthering the student’s creativity in a free, unconditional, safe, nurturing and fun environment.
BLUEDOG - School Of Acting For Kids, is based on skill building. That is, we develop skills in kids like; listening, focusing, concentration, memorization, following direction, self confidence and we teach kids the ability to perform without fear or distractions. And we make it fun. BLUEDOG, School of Acting for kids and teens is administrated and taught totally by professional actors and educators who are themselves honestly working in South Florida's Film and TV Commercials industry. We can and will help you in this business. The honest way! At the very least, we build great kids, with amazing skills that they can apply anywhere, in any profession.
Finally, we're not about having parents sign contracts for a series of classes or bad pictures costing thousands and thousands of dollars. We're not in that kind of business. Your child takes one session at a time and you pay for that session only. We think it's about your child and your child's development as an actor and a kid, and loving their acting classes.
WE ARE NOT ABOUT CONTRACTS YOU CAN'T GET OUT OF...WE DON'T EVEN HAVE A CONTRACT. YOU SIGN NOTHING! You will NEVER sign any contracts at BLUEDOG!
However, we do have a 1 time registration fee of $50.00 in addition to the cost of the class or classes you sign up for.
